At Ashlar, I firmly b that an educated home buyer or seller is best equipped to make their own decisions. That’s why I take time out of my day each and every day to answer someone’s real estate question. And, when I think the answer can be useful to you as well, I share it here. So without further ado:
Question:
Where are the 55+ single family home communities in Pinellas? All I see are condos or mobile homes!
The various Tamaracs around the area are one of the few single family 55+ communities I can think of off the top of my head that are single family homes, but they are certainly not everyone’s cut of tea design wise.
Usually 2 bedroom 1 baths, and every home is extremely similar… like, all white with white tile and the only difference being which 3 colors of shutters you have (red, blue, green).
On the plus side there is a golf course, at least by the one in Clearwater. The one in Seminole, while it used to have a course nearby, has closed down.
There’s a few more the further north you go into Pasco, and of course there’ Sun City Center in Hillsborough which is like 55+ metropolis.
I can actually put a search together for you with this criteria if you like.
But yeah, most of the stuff in Pinellas is going to be condos or mobile homes with condo ownership.
