Difference between Realtor, Broker Associate, Real Estate Agent?

Realtor here.

Functionally they *can* all be the same though there are some differences:

Real estate agent – licensed real estate professional

Broker Associate – licensed real estate professional who holds a broker license but is not an active broker but is selling real estate under another broker’s supervision. Use it if you join your local realtor organization.

Broker Associate – licensed real estate professional who holds a broker license but is not an active broker but is selling real estate under another broker’s supervision.

The main difference is Realtor as that is how you get access to the MLS.
